Iceland

My father was in the Air Force, too, and was stationed in Iceland for about a year back in 1974. I visited once and have some really vague memories of it (I wasn't four yet), but I remember the geysers and the rocky landscape we drove through in Jeeps. I'd really like to go back there now.

Welcome to the site and thank you for your service!

Cross the Watefall?

Where were you going to cross that waterfall? From your picture, looks like a good idea you thought better of it.

We were just seeing how far out we could get before we could get swept away. Pretty wise move going back.
