Iceness

On a recent trip to the Cascade Valley with Josh Lewis, I found a piece of ice about 1 foot long in the snow. Due to sheer boredom, I named it Iceness and played around with Josh's fancy camera (A Panasonic Lumix). I was attempting to make this look like a huge pillar of ice, but the large grains of icy snow gave it away.

Sorry for not responding sooner, I decided to take a break from SummitPost.

Josh is doing quite well these days. He goes hiking/scrambling at least twice a month, and he has just joined a mountaineering group (OSAT).

I have been active in the Mountaineers, and I am taking the Basic Climbing Course.

We have gone along different paths in mountaineering groups, however, we still see each other daily at school. I hope to go scrambling again together some time soon.
