Icicle Tree

Icicle Tree

This icicle tree was found right near a "rock cave" hikers have to pass under on the lower reaches of the Barr Trail. Delightful ice formations were the result of blizzard conditions several days prior, followed by a warming trend. Such beauty if fleeting: When passing this same area hours later after a sunny, warm afternoon, the icicles had all melted.

Re: cool

Thansk, Dow. I'm like a little kid when I'm in the woods, always stopping to "ooh and ahh" at some plant or rock or view.

...and that's a trait I hope never to loose. :)

Cheers,

Sarah
