Idaho Douglasia

Idaho Douglasia (Douglasia idahoensis) is endemic to a few subalpine summits of central and north central Idaho. The plants occupy the north slope of Umbrella Butte with some scattered spots down the east ridge. This photo was actually taken on Hanover Mountain a few miles to the south. July 2007
