Yo! Aren't those Aztars......the bomb?!?! I can't wait to get my little mitts on them soon. Of all the ice tools I've tried, these were by far my favorites. Good going on the ice!

Re: Yo! Aren't those Aztars...Ooops! Really? They look just like my Aztars. I found it difficult to find tools that felt good in my small hands... figured you might have had the same trouble. Oh well, glad you like the Quarks.

Re: Yo! Aren't those Aztars...Considering I've only climbed with 2 different types of tools, I'll have to still say that I love 'em. Light and when they're sharp - one hit, one kill!
BTW, can you believe this ice fall is in SoCal? tee hee

Re: Yo! Aren't those Aztars...Ya, that's impressive. All those years I lived in SoCal... never found one scrap of ice without going to the East Side. Good on you.

Re: So Cal IceNope, quite a ways off. Hwy 38 on the way to Jenks Lake Rd. there's several tiers of waterfall; I last climbed them in Dec 2011. You can actually see the lower tier from the road. Great stuff to solo....as long as you don't fall. :)
