If it's difficult to make out the perspective in this photo, I understand. This is Dave Cameron and Erin Burr negotiating the steep, third-class ramp that we chose through the cliffs that interrupt Tijeras Peak's otherwise gentle east slopes. One of many ramps through the cliffs, we selected the easiest one as best we could tell. The photo is looking straight down from above the ramp, and the ramp descends in this frame from right to left. You can see rock darkened by trickling water near the base of the ramp, and talus and grass below the cliffs in the top of the frame. Photo taken by Ryan Schilling on July 25, 2003.
