First pitch of Kautz Glacier

8-July-2008: Mark watches a party ahead of us ascend above the first pitch of the Kautz Glacier route. The first pitch was just hard snow at the time (soft in the afternoon), and easy to climb / descend. This picture was taken near the shortcut.
