Excited to be on Clouds Rest, Half Dome in the background

Pavan is showing his excitement at being on top of Clouds Rest. We started in Toulumne Meadows at dawn. Half Dome is in the background and still a long way off, we didn't make it to the cables until very late in the day, and we finished our hike out to the Valley in the dark. If you zoom on the picture to its max resolution you can see people climbing Half Dome on the cables.

Love this picture!

Great picture of Clouds Rest and view of Half Dome. I have got to get out there before I get too old to climb those cables!

Thanks, he was having a great time and it showed. On this same day we talked to a young man in his 80's at the base of the cables. He took a pass on climbing them though. He said he had already climbed them, some years previous, and just wanted to hike back up the base.
