Seven Sisters

The Seven Sisters indentification signboard that used to sit on the dam at Lake Tomahawk in Black Mountain, N.C. On this sign, only Tomahawk, Stomping Knob, and Big Piney were correctly identified. The unnamed Fourth Sister (which appears third in line from this angle) was misidentified as Little Piney (which is actually the alternate name for Stomping Knob); the unnamed Fifth Sister, sometimes called Forked Ridge Knob, was misidentified as "Slaty;" Little Slaty was omitted; Big Slaty was misidentified as Graybeard, and Walker Knob was misidentified as False Graybeard.
