Snowmass Mountain Scree Slope...and Helmets

Rob and Andrew, crossing some boulders on the approach to the scree slope at the west end of Snowmass Lake. We put our helmets on shortly after starting up the scree slope after a near miss. The slope is steep and it is easy for someone above you to knock scree loose. Rob was in the lead above us and inadvertantly let some scree loose, and a few pebbles along with a baseball size rock came down over my head and just missed me by less than 10 feet.
