Late evening view to the west out over Silent Pass to the Selkirks from the headwaters of McMurdo Creek. The tip of Mt. Sir Donald can be seen at top right. The elongated water-filled troughs in the bedrock were caused by many thousands of years of abrasive glacial action.
This is an old fuzzy Velvia slide from a 6-day mountaineering trip into International Basin in August 2002.
