Indian Summer

Indian Summer

"Well, the summers are hot and the winters get cold, Not a lot smarter, but another year old; Sometimes I'm still at the fishing hole.. And you never needed bait where we used to go, Just a safety pin hook on a bamboo pole. Take the big ones home; let the little ones go ..." A day is always well spent dreaming at Woods Canyon Lake (7500'), about 25 miles east of Payson atop Arizona's pine-scented Mogollon Rim. September 2, 2010

Quite lovely Larry!

A nice change and really shows the green in Arizona that you lamented the lack of so much a few months ago!

Enjoy the long weekend!

Re: Quite lovely Larry!

Oh, thanks Mrs.'Kay!'

That reminds me of an old Creedence tune:

"Woke up early feelin' light, (Shame, it's a shame.)
Somebody got to me last night, (Shame, it's a shame.)
Sat down for a friendly duel, (Shame, it's a shame.)
With one-eyed jacks 'n' jokers, too, (Shame, it's a shame)..."
