Awesome man!

What a tremendous upthrust of rock! The small building gives human perpective and the river ties it together.

Thanks for your appreciation and vote. the small building built at the bottom of the hill on which the great fort Kharphocho is perched. It was named after the Queen and called Mindoq Khar in Balti language meaning “ Flower Palace”.
Kharphocho Fort is an ideal spot,from where you can view the whole Skardu Valley, and photograph the Indus River and surroundings.

How high above the Skardu Valley are the highest peaks in this picture? It's also amazing how the Indus River cuts through the rising mountains over vast time to create such a massive scarp!

Skardu is situated at an altitude of 2500-M
NO the heighest peaks are not in this picture thease peaks are 5000-M.
Yes you are right that a vast time has been taken to create such a massive scarp.
