Interesting angle of Blanche Peak.

Interesting angle of Blanche Peak.

After hitting up Blanche Peak and Sundial, while on the way out I noticed this unique angle of Blanche Peak. I bypassed the hanging valley normally used to access the Sundial Saddle, and west around a longer route to the west. This actually took about the same amount of time shaving off having to ascend and descend the cliffbands. On of the interesting things about upper Mill B south fork is the rocks... precambrian quartzite everywhere. This one seen in the foreground is typical off the upper terrain there. Looks almost like a fossilized log of sorts. May 11, 2012.
