Interesting Geology

A look at the interesting geology of the area. The cliff below is separated from the mountain above by a rolling (in some places flat) plateau. The cliff below is also made of completely different rock than the mountain above. Locals say the bottom cliff is sandstone. I do not know what the top layer is; my layman's guess is Gneiss?
