3/15/2011 Beautiful warm day and great snow conditions. Did Quarry Mt on the way back home.
3/1/2011 Didn't get started until 1:38pm since I spent the morning skiing to 8442 and 9050. On the summit at 5:18 and back to the car by 7pm. The snow was annoyingly sticky on the way up and annoyingly crusty on the way down, but I still had a good time.

2/3/2010 Beautiful weather and conditions. A few inches of new snow to break after turning off the main road. Perfect amount of glide on the way down.

Iron Mine Mtn
Ran up atv and old logging roads from Soapstone info booth on MLH. Training for a long race and this was a fun way to do it! Roads from Lambert Hollow take you practically to the summit on open slopes on the S side of the mtn with tremendous views of the Wasatch Mtns. I can see why ZeeJay has climbed this peak 47 times. Great views in all directions.

Went to the Uintas to get away from the hot weather. I didn't get to see the benchmark or register either. There were snowdrifts above eight feet tall along the summit ridge. It was the only significant snow on the entire mountain.

Returned to the mountain, up North Slope road, West Saddle, down East Ridge. Beautiful day but no camera. 16-miler in 6 hrs rt.
