It is over there, I think

The first thing that hits you when you get to the ridge above Big Mountain Pass and can see the mountain is how far away it looks. After almost 3 miles on the trail it still looks like it is a long ways away. Lookout mountain on the left is one of my future hikes. Salt Lake City is a great place to live nearby if you like mountains, skiing and hiking. 10-1-11
