MICHAEL BROOKES
An amazing day and a beautiful walk. I had my 70th birthday 3 months ago, but really enjoyed it.

South normal route (from sent. spinotti)
Did sentiero Spinotti from Lambertenghi hut, then up towards Mount Coglians summit... first part (from junction with Spinotti path) is ok, second part is a bit hard since one has to basically go up a scree, which is quite tiring even though not particularly difficult, last bit is better: steep but no gravel/scree so faster.
Care has to be taken not to throw rocks when descending (or ascending), and care towards rock which may be thrown by other people.
Superb view (even though a storm was forming so clouds climbed up quickly and I could not enjoy it properly)
