West Ridge
Parked at Sunshine Mine (7750') then started up the ridge. Halfway up I decided to visit Paymaster since it was so close. West ridge was simple class3, but the northeast ridge traverse to McIntyre required constant route-finding. My pup and I made it across, but if you're not into jagged ridges it wouldn't be a bad idea to climb down a couple hundred vertical to the stable ground and skip the whole ridge dance.
Jacqueline's east face seems like a great way to climb the peak. The terrain leading up to it is solid (I descended that drainage).

stellar day
Climbed this with mtybmpo via paymaster gulch. The lower half wad a little bit of a buswhack but still an amazing route with a little bit of everything. Loose rock, solid rock, a hill grunt and some scrambling. Great day

Awesome Scramble

Cold and Cloudy
Steep and direct route up to SW ridge. Clouds rolled in on the summit and hampered what could have been outstanding views. Made for a nice half day climb though.

Beautiful day!
Climbed the south slopes to the ridge. A great route with snow!
Climbed up the SW ridge. Great scramble with Jeff and Adam. The views are unmatched with anything to date. Was great seeing the original registry from 1958 still up there, a great piece of history for the 4th of July weekend!

still some snow
Hike up from East Fork Big Wood River Road. Got onto snow at about 9500ft. The ridge from 10600ft to the summit was almost all snow which was very soft and may for some exciting scrambling. The cloud deck impeded views of the higher Pioneer summits. Some glissading on the way down made for a quick trip

A rare climb with oldest daughter and her boyfriend. Also rare cool weather for August. Beautiful day in the Pioneers.

gorgeous fall day
This one's been on my list for a long time, maybe 7 years. I finally got there. I wanted to traverse over the ridge to McIntyre, but I was late on time and by myself, so caution got the better of me. I found a perfect lunch spot about 300' below the summit and just about fell asleep.

East Face Scramble
After climbing McIntyre earlier in the day, we thought about traversing the ridge to Jacqueline, but the mix of snow and rock on the exposed ridge forced us down a few hundred feet, and we contoured over to the base of Jacqueline’s east face. The snow was getting pretty soft, so we ditched the crampons and scrambled up the rock section instead. It was steep, but surprisingly stable. Lot’s of fun. On the way out, we linked up enough snowfields for a couple thousand feet of glissading down the southern slopes. Yee Haw! Here’s a trip-report and some photos.
