January 8th, 2005 - As Joe Bullough and I trudged through windblown snow and 80mph gusts on Millcreek Ridge, we came across these interesting cornices. The change in profile along the ridge is probably due to some leeward trees altering the flow of the wind. With the wind constantly howling, you could almost see the cornice getting bigger as snow was swept off the platform.
