I have wanted to do Jicarita Peak for awhile. Glad to see that other people think its a cool peak as well. Your route looks a little faster then the Santa Barbara Canyon Route
I had always wanted to do it as I have looked upon it often from my family's cabin which lies 5 miles straight-line from the peak. It was a good one to do solo as it climbs very gradually.
From SB it is over a mile further and almost 1500ft more vert gain.
