Residual Effects?

As a trail runner (though well below your level), I greatly enjoyed your blow by blow, especially the mental aspects of your endeavor. What was your recovery like in the few days after the run?

Rick and Mountain Impulse, I've added s short section on recovery near the end. Unfortunately I think total recovery will take quite a while. With each passing day now the extent of the muscle loss is becoming more clear.

This is both interesting and informative -- thanks for taking the time to write it up. I enjoyed reading about how you managed the physical and mental effects of doing this. The discussion of diet and preparation on the BPL thread is good reading, too.
