Jubiläumsgrat in Winter: Emergency bivvy

There wasn't enough snow to dig a real snowcave, so we dug a platform into the snow which was barely long enough to lie on. We were prepared for an unplanned bivouac and had brought lightweight down sleepingbags. Don't attempt the ridge in winter without this kind of emergency equipment. During the night, temperatures dropped to -28°C/-18.5°F.
