Junction Peak from the summit...

Junction Peak from the summit of University Peak. The North Buttress (III 5.7) follows the prominent line between light and shade. The West Ridge (Class 3) forms the right skyline, with Forester Pass crossing the ridge at the second notch on the right. An unmaintained trail branching off the Shepard's Pass trail approaches the peak from the left, beneath the slabby east side. July 24, 2005.

Junction

I've always wanted to do University via the class 1 route from Center basin. My personal limit is class 2, so Junction would be too much for me. The peak is beautiful though... Nice shot.
