Overview
Skały Podlesickie ( rocks in Podlesice ) are part of Skały Kroczyckie ( rocks in Kroczyce ) and are also a part of North Jura, the biggest rock climbing region in Poland. These rocks are situated between Zawiercie and Częstochowa.
Getting There
It is possible to reach Podlesice from biggest city in region - Zawiercie only by bus and car.
There are a lot of trains to Zawiercie from most biggest Polish towns situated in the south of country, like Kraków, Katowice, Częstochowa.
Red Tape
There aren't any prohibition about climbing there, but bear in mind that it is nature reserve, so behave appropriate.
Climbing
You can find there a lot of routes grade from I ( UIAA - I, USA - 3rd class ) up to VI.8 ( UIAA - 9a, USA - 5.15a )
Climbing on Jura's limestone is specific becouse of its slippery, often without any friction.
Routes are 1 pitch, and relative short.
There are two biggest climbing areas:
I - Góra Zborów
Highest rock has 20 meters
There are 365 climbing routes graded from I up to VI.6+ (8b+ ; 5.14b)
II - Góra Kołoczek
Highest rock has 25 meters
There are 271 climbing routes graded from III up to VI.8 (9a ; 5.15a) including many hard routes and boulders.

In the village there are a lot of camping places, rooms for rent, and a Ostaniec hotel.
