Sven gathers rope as I prepare to lead the next pitch. There were these wonderful platforms at each pitch, and the climbing was mostly 5.6ish, so it wasn't that hard, but the exposure was simply enormous. Sven has about 3,000 ft. of air behind him with maybe two short bounces. The only way to rescue would be a helo like the guy a few days before, but we made promise to each other that day: NO helo rescues and NO newspaper articles about our climb.
