Re: ThanksThank you very much for your vote and commnets to my photo. The global warming is effecting the Karakoram, but not as much as compare to the other regions. The weather conditions in Karakoram is extremly cold and in the winter season, all these lake and streams frozen and becomes a part of the glacier.

Re: IfYes, I waited at Concordia for three days. First two days the weather was very cloudy, but the 3rd day the weather was sunny.

A climbI read that K-2 is not as high as MT. Everest, but is harder to climb....great photo! You are an amazing person! :)

First conquered by an Italian expedition on 31 July, 1954, its perils are many, avalanche, landslide, frequent and unpredictable storm, and savage winds. It has claimed many lives.
