There are actually still so many unknown or little known mountains in Tibet to fill a mountaineer's life...
About google earth, it proved to be a very good tool to prepare this trip, especially as I had no map or report on previous climbs. I could almost guess the whole "normal route" by studying the mountain on google earth. But still, I prefer to experience it live rather than on a computer...
with great info. And congrats with your third ascent, and likely first ascent of the South peak. Seems like something I might want to try if only I was fifteen years younger.
