how bigare those basins? Can you soak your whole body?
And what God do you have to pray to when visiting that place?

Re: how bigThe basins are about 2m long and 20cm deep. That was my first bath in several months (had some showers though...), but I won't post the picture here. :)
What god do you have to pray? You don't have to, but I would recommend that one for the Fanatics of the Snow Mountains (FSM).
More seriously, the ancient troglodyte city of Khyunglung, located just above the hot springs, used to be the capital of the Shangshung kingdom, from where the Bön (pre-Buddhist) religion spread across Tibet. Nowadays the site also count with ruins of Buddhist chapels, and it is quite close to holy Mount Kailash revered by Hindus, Jains, Buddhists and Böns. Personally I stick to the FSM…

Re: how bigThanks for a very explanatory answer. I heard of "that one" church, although disagree with the slight changes of Michelangelo's main Sistine chapel scene.
