If anyone can contribute some, I welcome them. This route is, and will remain, a largely exploratory venture due to the length and terrain. Hopefully, you can combine my trip report with the topo route line to do the route successfully...it's significantly more than we had when we did it. Note that I suggest retracing your approach rather than dropping into the valley floor early on your return. To this end, a couple of cairns would be a prudent choice as you head in.
Jim, thanks so much for the topo map. I will try this route in September and if I survive, will post some pics. I've been up Kintla from Boulder Pass and have a hankerin' to try it this way. Thanks again!!
