Kiop Peak from Parker Pass. The storm clouds are brewing yet again. We tried to outrun them back to Tuolumne Meadows, but instead got nailed by another unbelievable late summer hailstorm.

Parker Peak?

The mountain just right of center appears to be Parker Peak rather than Koip Peak. The switchbacks leading to Koip Pass are almost dead center in this picture, on the Northwest side of Parker. Koip would be out of this shot to the right.
