Hoi Jurgen,
Good description of this mountain with nice pics.
I'd suggest adding some more info about the standard routes (normal and traverse). Does the normal route go to the highest summit? For the traverse - II-III sounds like a border between scrambling and climbing, I reckon a climber could free solo it, but is it usual to rope up and use gear there?
After some corrections I'll gladly give the highest score.
Does 'obl.' in route ratings stand for the 'overall' grade?
Groetjes,
Kamil
Thank you for your suggestions, ther're very helpful. The normal route does go to the highest summit, so I've changed it. About the traverse, I didn't changed much. I haven't done it, so I'm not sure wether one can go free solo. And, as allways, this depends on someone skills, so I would never say that it can be done without a rope. That's for everybody themself to decide.
Obl. means obligatoire/obligatory difficulty. It means, that you'll have to able to climb that grade. It doesn't have anything to do with overall grade.
Hope I've awnsered your questions. Good to see that you know some Dutch (groetjes:))!
No he's not. Beat is an Autrian climber and Hans is from South Tyrol (Italy). I believe there not even relatives. Kammerlander is a pretty common name in Tyrol. Beat is famous for his difficult (alpine) rock climbs and Hans has done many climb in the Himalayas.
Both are very inspiring climbers at the top of the league.
