Kosciuszko Monument in Kamieniec Castle

Kamieniec Castle complex (built in the 14th century) consisted of the upper and lower castles. The monument of Tadeusz Kosciuszko is standing till today in the upper castle. This monument was founded by the local people in 1894 to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the Kosciuszko Uprising (Polish: Insurekcja Kosciuszkowska).
