Owens Point, a 11,375-ft. high point on the ridge climbing north from the Horseshoe Meadows Road, overlooks Lone Pine Ca. with a commanding and unimpeded view to the east far into Nevada. On July 23, 2014 the view was exceptional; so exceptional I zoomed a bit in a direction I was seeing peaks at 200 miles!
