Labeled NW 130 Deg. from Lamont Peak
Lamont Peak is west of the Sierra Crest (roughly NW of Owens Peak)in the Southern Sierras. At 7,429 feet, it yields a great view of Domeland, the Kern Plateau and even a few high spots to the north (Florence Peak and Mount Whitney). The higher Sierra Crest to the east obscures much of view in that direction. This was shot on April 29, 2015.
