Some photos would help, but I'm happy for the beta.

Re: nice

After Pen and I scrambled up this, I wrote an article for a club here in Southern California with many photos (not digital) attached. During the editing process, the photos were "lost". I have not been there since, not too many people scramble up this thing so sorry, no photos. One of these days (I hope) someone will get some shots of the action...
P.S. BTW this is really fun and worthy scramble and the whole trip to the eastern deserts of California is worth a weekend. Bring wood, wine and good food, good partner would not hurt either.

Re: nice

We're planning on it! It's tough to fit the drive into a weekend.

Re: nice

A follow up -- the peak was a neat experience! I practiced prussiking up a tree in my back yard, and a 30' cliff in Red Rock -- and that preparation was well worth the time!

Re: nice

Yes, the false summit for Prussik. It was a great day! I can put some pics on this page, but I'm not sure they are that useful-- we rushed over the 1st ladder and the step-across, so I didn't get photos, and those are places that deserve a picture. If anything here is useful, you can use it or I can upload them and attach them to your page:

Re: nice

Why don't you just attach all of it to either the above TR or to the route page? I think your photos and notes are just what is needed.
Thanks, Alois.
