Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho An evening group scene along the water's edge This 25 mile long lake has over 109 miles of shoreline, is an average of 120 feet deep and ranges from 1 to 3 miles in width. Fed by two rivers and surrounded by foothills of the Bitterroot Mountains this beautiful lake is less than one hour from Spokane, Washington. In 2005 I had the chilly pleasure of jumping into the lake several times close to shore and can tell you from personal experience that even in late July this lake is VERY, VERY COLD!
