"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Untitled CommentThanks Brenta for the vote and comments. I've made the corrections which helped out the page. You have a great eye and it is nice to know someone reads the whole thing.

Untitled Commentnice page but you need to work on the paragraph formatting a little bit. Don't leave blank lines between paragraphs - just use the html
to start each paragraph and that should clean it up dandy.

GateDean, there is now a gate at "work your way up another 1.3 miles to where a large area is on the left side of the road", so driving further than that isn't an option (at least not in the winter - I haven't checked it out in the non-winter).

Israel Canyon RoadThe road is in great shape right now. A low clearance car will have trouble with some rocky areas, but anything else should make it to the summit just fine. I did park just below the final switchbacks, though, which I recommend as that lets you do a fun loop hike on some ATV tracks up on the ridge to the east. The views of Utah Lake up there are just incredible.
