Lake Serene

August 1, 2010 I hiked to Lake Serene. The trail was extremely rocky and strenuous. The elevation gain was 2000ft in 1 1/2 miles. Highest point was 2521 ft. The alpine lake had glaciers and it was so pristine! My friends and I made a memory that day and it will not be forgotten. Lake Serene-Bridal Veil Falls, Washington U.S.A.

Thanks! It was such a wonderful day at the lake and next week I am going to hike 2000ft higher to another lake in Washington called Lake Anne (Mt Baker Hwy). (though it will be 1800 ft in 1 1/2 miles, Lake Serene is 2000 ft in 1 1/2 miles. Hope all is well in your world.
