Lamont Peak

Panorama of Lamont Peak from the standard approach on the south-west ridge. Lamont Peak is left of center; the ridges to the far right lead up to Spanish Needle (alas, just off the edge of the photo). From this point the trail (a use trail, not maintained) descends into the saddle then traverses to the right, below the peak. The trail splits and one branch heads to the left, straight up the slope to the peak -- both branches are a scramble, but the left one seemed easier.
