Re: great!

That TR has become kind of a "50 classics" list for me. You guys really got a lot of climbing done despite all the weather trouble! It'll take me years to catch up to what yall did in a month :D.

Re: Just the perfect...

You are too kind sir! Hey it was a year ago now you had me worrying about keeping my fingers attached on "Delicate Mechanism." Sigh...beautiful granite :D.

Re: Hey Michael,

Thank you Sergio! The Alps is the mother of long lists :D. Go climb Catwalk (5.6) for me, that was a watershed "adventure" climb in my first year of climbing. I loved the scramble back into that long canyon!

Very nice TR. Always an enjoyable read! Ready for the ski-touring / ice-climbing season?

Re: Ready?

Definitely! I was in your area (La Grave) last December for great ice climbing. That place is amazing...

Re: awesome!

I kinda think so too. Give me a little house on a steep south slope, some landjäger wurst, a couple of cats and a goat and I'd banish myself to Südtirol forever. :D

Re: awesome!

Exactly! But I would prefer a Bernhardiner with a small barrel of Gluehwein and a few sheep :)

Fantastic

views of glowing peaks, seemingly absolute solitude and pure climbing enjoyment; looks like the kind trip anyone would love.
