Brutally Windy
Brutally windy day with "Southwest Lenawee". Ascended an avy path to stay clear of postholing in the forest. Worked out fairly well. Ground blizzard on the descent.
Beautiful summer day in Colorado, great views from top of this mountain.

Peru Creek/Lenawee Trail
Nice trail. Made it up and down in less than 4.5 hours (even counting the 20 minute summit break). The running is paying off in the mountains!

A-Basin Traverse In Winter
Traversed from Loveland Pass to Lenawee Mountain and finally to A-Basin. Pitched out two 30 meter sections due to 6 inches of fresh snow on the ridge. All I have to say is WOW!
This was a great climb, but we got the s*#t scared out of us by a lightning storm that was a little too close. Luckily the storm passed over and we made it down safely.

winter/spring changeover
w/mike, rough and steep hike. slushy snow during the descent was the worst i've encountered.
8/7/10: Hiked from Lenawee trail with descent of SE ridge
3/21/09: Hiked up the south slopes from the Peru Creek winter closure then traversed the rough ridge across the top of A-basin ski area to the summit and back.
