Thank you. I agree. If it wasn't for Red Rocks I'm not sure if I would want to live here. I think I spotted this lizard somewhere by Calico Hills, but I'm not sure. I wasn't as organized with my photos back then as nowadays ;)

Amazing lizard...

Leopard lizards are very rare in the wilds.
I used to have two 'pet' Leopard lizards (in my parent's backyard) as a kid, but that was more years ago then I'd prefer to mention or think about. Nice photograph!!!

Thanks. Yes, they are and it is a treat to "spot" one. Last time we encountered a leopard lizard was in autumn 2007 in Bearing & Boulder peaks area (Lake Mead).
