We pitched the Beckey Route into 4 50 meter pitches.
climbed girl next door with Seth and Tim.
gully was sketchy in hard snow.
My brother Jason finally took me up Liberty Bell. We had been talking about it for years. Beautiful day, with only one other party on the mountain. We didn't interfere with each other and only saw each other once. I made a point to use my new pink womens' belay gloves.
Climbed the Beckey route with my brother on a crowded Thursday morning.
Very easy climbing and a lot of fun. Had trouble finding the rappel stations though but got help from another group.
Good climb with great visibility today
lost on the descent.
With AAI Course.
Fun, relaxing day. Best part was watching the baby goats.
Via the Beckey Route. What a great laid back day, fun climbing and incredible views.
A classic. Snowy approach and warm granite by ourselves.
A good day on the bell, took fred's route. Saw a few goats get a little too close, also saw some goat hair on the summit, hmm.
Climbed the Beckey route w/ Ryan and Chandler after doing the North Face Directissima on Concord. Looking forward to coming back for Liberty Crack!
Led this awesome route with Josh. Awesome weather and the approach was nice and snow covered.
Had a great day out. Weather has been exceptional lately!
Did this route over 26 years ago - no crowds back then :-) Only one rap station then and it took two 50m ropes.
Beckey Route - combined with Concord Tower.
Enjoyed the fun and moderate Becky Route. Great way to bite your teeth into Cascade rock, I do believe.
Fantastic route and summit. A bit tricky on the approach - following the snow gully straight up, we had to negotiate a 20-foot high, wet rock step that we ended up belaying, which was quite time-consuming. On the way down we realized that there is a fairly easy way around this obstacle. Still, all in all a great day out and tremendous views!
