Truelly, the most most gruelling winter climbing I've ever experienced, to date! The trail hadn't been touched in 6 months. The snow was really deep.
It was like climbing up a sand dune in snowshoes. Kick in. Step. Slide down. Curse. Kick in. Step. Slide down. Repeat.
Incredibly, it took 3.5 days to hike to the top (The Lion's head trail can be done in 5 hours.)
Exhausting...
