Oustanding shot!Have seen many great shots of this mountain on SP but this one is pretty unique - the location you chose makes the mountain look very impressive. Nice picture.

Re: Oustanding shot!Thanks. I think this area of the climb was almost more interesting than the summit, with that "dirty" glacier in the background, and the bowl below it. Very sticky rock, too.

Where was this taken?Granted it's been awhile since I was there but I can't figure out where you took this photo from? Which route did you climb?

Re: Where was this taken?Um. I can't give GPS coords or anything, but we just followed the trail up the north side of Ice Lake basically moving due west. There's a little bowl right behind her, and I think this is the last really flat spot before you go left up a trough of red dirt before you get back on the lime.
