This picture does no justice showing the steepness of this trail. The Little Table Rock Trail is the steepest, graded, maintained trail I have ever hiked (to date). There are no switchbacks. There is approximately 1,000 feet of elevation gain on this 1.1 mile trail and most of that elevation gain occurs in the last half mile. There are no "steps" built into the trail to help make the climbing any easier.
