Monument Peak (elev. 5,682 ft.), also known as Lizard Mountain, lies to the east of the BLM-managed ghost town site of Lake Valley in southwestern New Mexico. The large building is the town's schoolhouse, built in 1904. Photo taken 1/18/08.
