Llech Ddu Spur

The grade 1 scramble route starts on a small path to the left of the waterfall and continues up through the scree trending leftwards. When the path is level with the buttress deep within the hanging valley the path turns sharply left and traverses above the Llech Ddu (black slab) buttress. Then follow the crest of the ridge upwards, footpaths often avoid the trickiest sections of rock.
