Family hike from Mosquito Pass Road
Fun hike on a lovely Fall bluebird day. Hiked with Nicholas, home for Fall Break, and the Larkins, Mike & Sammy (and their dog Delli). Also as a bonus, we viewed an elk herd and two male moose facing off.

London Mountain
Alone and after work, I climbed London Mountain. I walked the Mosquito Pass Road up to the west ridge of London Mountain and climbed it to the summit. It was a better route than it looked like from below. It was a nice hike and I saw several marmots.
Second time up (5/30/15). Climbed up west ridge after ascent/ski of Mosquito and then skied down The Wave to the road, just above the car. Road clear to about 11,100' before snowbank stops progress.
Third time up (2/2/20). Winter west ridge, ridge pretty dry. Road snow packed, snowshoes useful above the mill site.
London, Repeater, Mosquito, Treasurevault, Point 13 something and Tweto.

Twice
12/12/09 - Went up the south slopes and then traversed to "Repeater" (now Kuss), Mosquito and Treasurevault. Miserable windy cold day.
3/15/15 - Started hiking at the winter closure near Paris Mill on the Kite Lake road. Lovelend -> Buckskin -> Tweto -> Treasurevault -> Mosquito -> Kuss -> London. Descended interesting terrain on the southeast slopes of London and worried about cliffing out. Ended at Mosquito Pass winter closure (car shuttle).

Nice hike
Nice hike with Senad and Duchess. Started at Treasurevault, went over Mosquito to Kuss, and finished with London.
I was on summit about 9:30 am, officialy Fall arived at 2:15 pm, so it makes London Mt my last hike of summer 2013. Mt. London is nice, scenic and easy hike, weather moved in so fast with rain and snow, but still another great day at the office.
2nd time, October 13 combine with other 13ers.

West Ridge
Quick and easy hike up the west ridge. Stayed on the ridge crest which had some third class moves here and there along the lower third of the hike.

I parked at 10,600ft. I drove my 2wd car futher up the road, but when trying to park, I nearly slid off the road. My parking made this considerably longer. Saw no one again - just Okie and me - until a couple drove by on the way down and picked us up, allowing us to shave off a mile of the road walking.

Mosquito
Great holidays that I spent in the mountains. First day, I hiked Jacque Peak and Pennsylvania Mountain. It was very smoky that day, first glimpse on the fire season. View of Tenmiles are great. Second day I hiked Tweto, Mosquito, Treasurevault, Repeater, Evans B and London. Great and long trip.

West Ridge
Enjoyed this great little peak with Deb on a day that felt much less like late summer and much more like early fall. Really liked the North London Mine history/structures/mining junk. Had one of those darn alpine thistle "attack" my knee, though, which didn't make me very happy.
